Black Hound Clay Studio Registration Policies

8 WEEK IN-DEPTH CLASSES:

Last-minute cancellations for classes can be difficult to fill - please double-check your schedule before committing to an 8-week class. If you know you are going to miss more than 2 of the 8 classes, we suggest that you wait to sign up for a future session. 

Because of this, we cannot offer refunds 7 days or less in advance of the semester starting.  There will be no exceptions granted so please plan accordingly. 

Refunds for classes requested before the above 7-day window are subject to a 10% administrative fee of the total amount paid. Please request your refund via email or phone. 

If you have an unpaid balance 7 days or less before your class begins and we have received no communication from you about resolving the outstanding balance, you will forfeit your spot in the class, and any monies that have been paid will not be refunded. 

If you have not attended the first two classes and we have not received any communication from you, we will consider you withdrawn from the class, and you will not be able to attend the class going forward and you will not be able to receive a refund or class credit. 

If you miss a class, we encourage you to use your free Open Studio to make up the work time. Attending a different night of class to make up for the class you missed is not permitted. No refunds or credit will be given for missed classes. You may not attend Open Studio before attending your first class. 

You may not attend Open Studio without also attending your regularly scheduled class. You must attend a minimum of 4 of the 8 classes in a given session to be able to continue to attend Open Studio. 

If withdrawing from a class due to a documented illness or injury to the student, prorated class credit will be issued. Family emergencies, illness, travel or scheduling conflicts do not fall under the circumstances to warrant a class credit. Please email or call with class registration requests.

In the rare instance that an advertised teacher is unable to teach a class,  we reserve the right to replace them with a different, similarly skilled teacher.

Should a class not fill sufficiently to run, we may cancel it up to 3 days prior to the first class session. In the case of a cancelled underfilled class, you will receive a full refund.  

ONE DAY WORKSHOPS:

Request for cancellation via email or phone must be at least 48 hours before the time of your workshop. In this case, a refund will be issued, or the person can be rebooked for another date. 

Refunds or rebookings are not available less than 48 hours before the workshop takes place. 

Please note that if students arrive more than 30 minutes late for a workshop, they may not participate in the workshop. In this case, no refunds will be issued.

We reserve the right to cancel workshops up to 3 days in advance of the first class due to insufficient enrollment. If a workshop is canceled, students will be offered the option of rebooking to another workshop or a full refund.

No refunds or rebookings are available after the workshop has taken place.

SUMMER CAMP:

Withdrawing before May 1: 100% refund less a 10% administrative fee
Withdrawing between May 1-31: 50% refund
Withdrawing after May 31: no refund
Refunds for partial attendance in a given 5-day camp week are not available. 

PRIVATE EVENTS & PARTIES:

Deposits and payments for private events are non-refundable. In case of an emergency, rescheduling within 14 days of the original date may be possible.

PRIVACY POLICY:

Black Hound Clay Studio South occasionally sends text notifications for project pick up purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes.
